BLOG, for me, is a kind of space that I could post what I think and something I did recently to friends I cared. The first blog I used is Qzone, it’s a blog attached to QQ, which is a famous real-time communication tools in China. I am still using it. Qzone is now becoming much more like Facebook or Myspace, social media based. Their length of posts is usually shorter which made it more personal. Levinson (2009) has point out that blogs and social media have become prime vehicles of media criticism and reviews of what we see on television, as well as places in which viewers can easily discuss what they just or recently saw.
BLOGGING is the new media pioneer (1997), which is founded before others, like Wikipedia(2001), Facebook(2004), Twitter(2006) etc. Other than writing press releases or newspaper, you don’t have to be professional journalist, just write down how you feel about the topic. Bloggers are often referred to as “citizen journalist” (Levinson, 2009).

- Emotional expression over speaking and greater control of message by writing
- Immediate blog about anything that could last forever and universally accessible
- Comment moderation and control
- Make money from your own blog by placing ads
- Enhanced blog by attach images, videos and widgets
Blogging is UNIQUE, compare to the old form of writing, because it could publish immediately. Especially, when you read the latest news, you could post your opinion about that right away. Notes that WORDS are powerful, they could influence people who read it. Sometimes, you could change people’s mind when you compose with powerful words.
